This collaboration between Horizont and Mazák presents a refined, sessionable take on a pale lager. While built on the light-bodied framework of an American Lager, it elevates the profile with distinctive Czech-grown Agnus and Saturn hops. These varieties impart a refined spicy and herbal character that distinguishes the aroma from more neutral examples. A clean, subtle grainy malt base provides a crisp backdrop for the hop expression without adding weight. At 4% ABV, the experience is defined by high drinkability and a sharp, clean finish. It successfully bridges the gap between traditional Czech hop intensity and the refreshing, light-bodied nature of a classic pale lager.

Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a very pale straw color (2 SRM). Pours with a white, frothy head that exhibits moderate retention before fading to a thin collar.

Aroma. Low intensity overall. Clean fermentation profile with a light grainy malt sweetness. The hop character is more pronounced than typical for the style, featuring distinct herbal and spicy notes from the Agnus and Saturn hops.

Taste. Neutral and crisp palate entry with a low grainy-sweet malt flavor. Hop flavor is moderately-low but specific, showing herbal and earthy qualities. Bitterness is low but provides a clean balance. The finish is very dry and short, leaving a faint spicy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Light body with high carbonation that produces a noticeable carbonic bite. No alcohol warmth is perceived, and the texture is smooth with no astringency.
