This Double IPA offers a layered sensory experience driven by the intense aromatic profile of Ariana and Mosaic hops. The initial aroma is a complex blend of tropical berries and citrus, seamlessly integrated with the citrusy brightness of orange peels and the herbal, tannic depth of Ceylon tea. Sunflower petals add a delicate floral nuance to the high hop intensity. On the palate, the tea provides a structured bitterness that complements the high IBU, while the 9.1% ABV delivers a soul-warming alcohol presence. Despite its full body, the finish remains clean, balancing the rich malt foundation with lingering notes of spicy resin and stone fruit.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (SRM 9-12) with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head and slight haze from the tea and flower petal additions.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of berry, blackcurrant, and citrus from Ariana and Mosaic. Secondary notes of zesty orange peel, earthy Ceylon tea, and subtle floral sunflower petals are supported by a clean, neutral, grainy malt background.

Taste. Strong hop flavors of tropical fruit and resin lead into a citrusy mid-palate from the orange peel. A firm hop bitterness is present, augmented by a light tannic quality from the tea. Malt flavor is low but provides a clean, supportive bready character. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering herbal and hop-driven aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. A noticeable, smooth alcohol warmth is present without being solventy. Very low tannic astringency from the tea additions.
