This Double IPA showcases an intense hop profile driven by a sophisticated blend of Simcoe, Cashmere, Chinook, and Audacia. At 8% ABV, the sensory experience is led by pungent resinous pine and grapefruit zest from the Chinook and Simcoe, layered with softer notes of lemon, lime, and ripe melon attributed to the Cashmere. The Audacia hops contribute a subtle floral and spicy complexity. A clean, neutral malt backbone provides necessary structure without adding heavy sweetness, allowing the firm bitterness to shine. The finish is remarkably dry and crisp, emphasizing hop saturation while maintaining the high drinkability characteristic of the style.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light orange-copper with a moderate-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing. Clarity is good, though a very slight chill haze is acceptable for the style.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma featuring prominent notes of resinous pine, grapefruit, and tropical melon. A light, grainy, and neutral malt sweetness sits in the background, accompanied by subtle floral esters and a faint, clean alcohol presence.

Taste. High hop flavor mirrors the aroma with aggressive pine, citrus pith, and stone fruit. Bitterness is moderately high and firm but lacks harshness. The malt character is low and unobtrusive, serving only to support the hop intensity. It finishes very dry with a lingering, clean, resinous bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop oils. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite. A restrained, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated, with no hop-derived astringency.
