Between the Ditches is a vibrant Hazy IPA crafted with a base of Irish Malt to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Pouring with a characteristic opaque glow, it delivers an intense bouquet of stone fruits and tropical richness. At 6.5% ABV, the palate is led by succulent notes of mango, peach, and apricot, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone that never veers into toastiness. The mouthfeel is famously smooth and medium-full, offering a plush, juice-like texture that masks a restrained bitterness. It finishes clean and off-dry, leaving a lingering impression of fresh-squeezed fruit and a gentle hop-derived sweetness.

Appearance. Luminous straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM) with a dense, opaque haze providing a soft glow. It is topped by a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and intricate lacing.

Aroma. High-intensity aroma dominated by a mélange of tropical and stone fruits, specifically ripe mango, pineapple, and fuzzy peach. A background of grainy, bready Irish Malt provides a clean foundation, free from caramel or toast, while fermentation esters remain supportive and fruity.

Taste. High-impact flavors of tropical fruit and stone fruit mirror the aroma, featuring nectarine and passionfruit notes. The malt flavor is low, presenting as lightly bready. Perceived bitterness is moderate but soft, balancing an off-dry, juicy finish. No harsh hop burn or astringency is present in the fruity aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a plush mouthfeel without being viscous. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 6.5% ABV.
