This Triple Dry Hopped Double IPA presents an intense sensory experience driven by a complex, modern hop blend. Riwaka provides a striking passionfruit and citrus punch, while Citra and Mosaic add layers of tropical mango, stone fruit, and berry. Centennial contributes a refined floral and piney backbone. Despite its 8% strength, the beer maintains high drinkability with a soft, low-bitterness profile that deviates from traditional bitterness levels. The neutral malt base allows the vibrant hop oils to shine, resulting in a modern, hop-saturated profile that finishes clean with lingering notes of grapefruit and resin.

Appearance. Pale gold (approximately 4.5 SRM) with a slight, persistent haze from intensive dry-hopping. Features a moderate, frothy white head with good retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma dominated by passionfruit and pink grapefruit. Prominent notes of mango and citrus peel are supported by a subtle floral and pine needle undertone. Low, neutral grainy malt sweetness provides a quiet background, with a very clean fermentation profile and a faint hint of smooth ethanol.

Taste. Leading with vibrant tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Mid-palate reveals berry and stone fruit complexity. Bitterness is unusually low for the style, providing a soft, rounded character rather than an aggressive bite. The malt is soft and unobtrusive, allowing the hop-derived oils to dominate. Finishes medium-dry with a clean, lingering tropical fruit aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, almost creamy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift on the tongue. Alcohol warmth is restrained and well-integrated, providing a subtle glow without any solvent-like heat or astringency.
