Hopalaa MIRRORBALL
This Hazy IPA radiates with a vibrant tropical and stone fruit intensity driven by a massive triple dry hopping of Talus, Citra, Mosaic, and Sabro. The Talus and Sabro contribution introduces unique notes of pink grapefruit, dried rose petals, and creamy coconut, while Citra and Mosaic layer in lush depths of mango, blueberry, and zesty tangerine. A soft, pillowy malt base provides a supportive, bready backdrop that balances the complex hop profile. Its juicy character is refined by a smooth, rounded mouthfeel and a restrained bitterness, culminating in a clean, fruit-forward finish that highlights the intricate and modern hop synergy.
Appearance. Straw to light orange color (4-6 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. Supports a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and dense lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring a complex blend of tropical mango, passion fruit, and tangerine. Unique accents of coconut, cedar, and pink grapefruit are present, supported by a low, clean, bready malt character and neutral fermentation esters.
Taste. Explosive hop flavors of ripe pineapple, lime zest, and stone fruit dominate the palate. The Talus hops provide a subtle floral and herbal complexity, while Sabro adds a hint of creaminess. Low grainy malt sweetness provides balance without any caramel or toast. Bitterness is moderate and smooth, leading to an off-dry, juicy finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture and moderate carbonation. Very smooth with no harsh hop burn or astringency, accompanied by a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
