While the base style typically favors lower alcohol, this 8% ABV rendition provides a more substantial presence, carrying the intense Raspberry and Apricot notes through a bready, wheat-driven mid-palate. Aroma. High intensity. Sharp, clean lactic sourness mingles with prominent jammy raspberry and floral apricot notes. Secondary aromas of raw wheat and sourdough bread dough are present, providing a grainy foundation. No hop aroma.
Taste. Initial impression of intense lactic tartness followed by a rush of sweet-tart raspberry and fleshy apricot flavor. Lactic acidity is clean and dominant. Undetectable hop bitterness; sourness provides the primary balance. Bready, grainy wheat malt provides a light structural support.
