GOLIATH is a Triple Dry Hopped Double IPA that commands attention with an intense, aromatic punch of crushed gooseberry and white wine grapes from the Nelson Sauvin hops. This tropical foundation is layered with bright zesty orange and citrus marmalade notes contributed by Pacifica and Amarillo. Despite its 8.2% strength, the beer presents a lean, pale golden body with a soft, supportive malt backbone that ensures the massive hop saturation remains the focus. The surprisingly low bitterness creates a smooth, juice-forward experience rather than an aggressive bite, finishing with a clean, lingering resonance of stone fruit and floral grapefruit.

Appearance. Pale gold (approximately 4-5 SRM) with a persistent, dense white head that leaves significant lacing. Exhibits a modern haze typical of triple dry-hopped versions, though remaining luminous.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of white wine, passion fruit, and gooseberry. Secondary layers of sweet orange peel, grapefruit, and a light floral spice. Malt is neutral and supportive, suggesting clean grain without caramel interference.

Taste. Strong, complex hop flavors lead with tropical fruit and zesty citrus. Nelson Sauvin provides a distinctive white grape character, while Pacifica and Amarillo offer layers of orange and grapefruit. Bitterness is unusually low for the style, providing a soft, rounded counterpoint to the hop oils. The finish is medium-dry and clean, with a lingering fruit-skin aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the fruity lift. A well-integrated, gentle alcohol warmth is present but never solventy or hot. Low astringency despite the heavy dry-hop load.
