This Hazy IPA presents an opaque, juice-like character driven by a robust dry-hopping of Harlequin, Citra, and Mosaic. Harlequin hops contribute unique notes of passionfruit and pomegranate, while Citra and Mosaic provide layers of ripe mango, pink grapefruit, and tropical berries. The sensory experience is heightened by a soft, plush texture indicative of its Milkshake moniker, offering a creamy sweetness that balances the low perceived bitterness. Aromas of freshly squeezed citrus and stone fruit dominate, leading into a succulent, fruit-forward palate with a smooth, lingering finish of tropical nectar and a gentle bready malt backbone.
Appearance. Opaque, pale straw to light orange (4-6 SRM) with a dense, meringue-like white head that shows excellent retention and leaves thick lacing. A characteristic hazy shine is present without visible particulates.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics of tropical fruit (mango, pineapple) and citrus (grapefruit, lime) from Citra and Mosaic, complemented by the distinct passionfruit and berry notes of Harlequin. Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy, and smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate. No astringency or harshness is present; a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is detectable at 7% ABV.
