Abstract #9 is a vibrant Hazy IPA defined by a luxurious, saturated hop profile. The heavy use of Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy hops creates a sensory tapestry of crushed white grapes, passionfruit, and zesty peach. The addition of Nelson HopKief intensifies the signature gooseberry and cool-climate sauvignon blanc aromatics, which glide over a soft, pillowy malt base. Pouring a glowing gold with a dense, meringue-like head, it balances its low bitterness with a lush, tropical fruit depth. The experience is incredibly smooth, offering a juicy, off-dry finish that emphasizes the complex interplay of Southern Hemisphere hop varieties.

Appearance. Gold (SRM 5), opaque haze with a luminous glow; thick, rocky white head with high retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring white wine, gooseberry, and passionfruit. Subtle notes of peach and pineapple emerge alongside a clean, lightly bready malt backbone and soft fruity esters.

Taste. Bold tropical fruit flavors lead with passionfruit and citrus from Galaxy hops, quickly followed by the distinct white grape and gooseberry of Nelson Sauvin. Low bitterness allows the juicy hop character to dominate. The finish is soft and off-dry with a lingering tropical aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation provides a smooth lift without any hop burn or harshness; alcohol warmth is well-integrated and subtle.
