J-Juice is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a saturated hop profile driven by the combination of Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Mosaic. It pours a striking bright orange with a characteristic opaque glow. The aroma is a high-intensity burst of tropical passionfruit and crushed gooseberry, complemented by zesty citrus notes. On the palate, the hop-forward intensity translates into lush stone fruit and sweet tangerine flavors, supported by a soft, bready malt backbone. A smooth, pillowy mouthfeel defines the experience, leading to a gentle, fruit-laden finish with restrained bitterness, perfectly embodying the quintessential juicy character desired for the style.
Appearance. Bright orange (approximately 6-7 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze that gives the beer a luminous shine. It is topped with a dense, white, meringue-like head that demonstrates excellent retention and leaves thick lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity and profoundly fruity. Massive notes of tropical passionfruit, ripe mango, and grapefruit are layered over unique white grape and citrus complexity. A low, clean, bready malt sweetness provides a foundation, while fermentation esters are supportive and fruity without being cloying.
Taste. The initial impression is an explosion of juicy hop flavors, mirroring the tropical and citrus aromatics. Mid-palate reveals soft peach and nectarine notes with a subtle, grainy malt character. Bitterness is low to moderate and smoothly integrated, providing just enough structure to balance the malt. The finish is off-dry and exceptionally clean, lingering with citrus zest.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky, and rounded texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to the smooth, pillowy sensation. There is a very subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth that never becomes harsh or fusel. No astringency or raw graininess is present.
