Sunset Showdown reimagines the German Pils through a lens of modern hop intensity. Built on a crisp foundation of Heidelberg malt and fermented exceptionally clean with WLP800 yeast, this lager offers a bone-dry finish that accentuates its aggressive hopping. The sensory profile is dominated by a complex interplay of Amarillo, Simcoe, El Dorado, Luminosa, and Azacca hops, delivering vibrant layers of citrus zest, resinous pine, and ripe tropical fruit. While maintaining the brilliant clarity and snappy carbonation expected of the style, its elevated bitterness and lean body create a sharp, refreshing profile that bridges traditional lager craft with contemporary aromatic punch.

Appearance. Straw to pale gold (2–4 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Persistent, creamy white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop character; prominent citrus, resinous pine, and tropical notes of mango and papaya. Low grainy, doughy malt; very clean fermentation profile with no yeast-derived esters.

Taste. Initial light cracker malt flavor quickly overtaken by high hop bitterness and flavors of grapefruit, pine, and tropical fruit. Bone-dry, crisp finish with a lingering, clean hop resin and minerally snap. No harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body; high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing with a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
