This Strong Bitter presents a refined malt architecture of Extra pale, Crystal T50, and Crystal Extra Dark, creating a deep copper hue with rich layers of toffee and toasted biscuit. The hop profile is a sophisticated blend of traditional and modern, featuring the floral, earthy spice of Styrian Goldings Celeia alongside the distinct lemon zest and subtle herbal dill notes of Sorachi Ace. Fermented with AEB FERMOALE AY3 yeast, the beer exhibits classic British esters of dried stone fruit. It balances a firm bitterness with a lingering, medium-dry finish, showcasing a robust character that remains highly drinkable despite its elevated strength.

Appearance. Deep copper color (approximately 16 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a moderate, creamy off-white head that shows good retention and leaves light lacing.

Aroma. Moderately high intensity. Rich caramel and toffee malt notes dominate initially, followed by an intriguing hop bouquet of lemongrass, lemon peel, and faint earthy spice. Subtle pear and apricot esters provide a fruity backdrop with no diacetyl present.

Taste. Initial toasted bread and rich toffee sweetness from the specialty malts. The mid-palate introduces a firm hop bitterness that balances the malt depth.
