Hands Tied is a massive Triple IPA that balances a formidable 10% ABV with a lush, velvety body. Spelt and oat flakes create a thick, fluffed texture that supports an aggressive hop charge featuring Belma, Sabro, Motueka, HBC472, and Cryo Pop. The sensory experience is dominated by a complex fruit profile; expect vibrant notes of strawberry, mango sherbet, and zesty tangerine. Subtle nuances of musty white grapes, maracuja, and prickly dried flowers emerge as it warms. Despite its strength, the London Ale III yeast maintains a clean ester profile, ensuring the hop-driven melon and raspberry notes remain the primary focus of this modern powerhouse.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange-copper with a distinct, persistent haze. Features a large, creamy white head with excellent retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma showcasing strawberry, coconut, and zesty tangerine. Significant tropical notes of mango, melon, and passion fruit are supported by a soft, grainy malt backbone of spelt and wheat. Low fruity esters and a clean alcohol presence.
