This massive Imperial Stout presents an opulent sensory journey, defined by its high-gravity 13% ABV and decadent additions. The aroma is dominated by rich cocoa nibs and the distinct, almond-like spice of mahleb, layered over a luscious strawberry puree base. On the palate, a thick, velvety texture—enhanced by oat flakes and maltodextrin—carries flavors of bittersweet chocolate and dark roasted malts. The strawberry provides a subtle jammy acidity that cuts through the intense sweetness, while the mahleb adds a sophisticated cherry-pit complexity.
