Hop Hooligans

Full Sprint is a vibrant, low-ABV American IPA that punches above its weight with a complex hop profile. The ultra-pale Heidelberg malt provides a clean, grainy foundation, allowing the dynamic interplay of Cascade, McKenzie, Talus, and Vista hops to take center stage. Expect an aromatic explosion of grapefruit, pine, and floral rose, complemented by deeper notes of tropical melon and stone fruit. The BRY-97 yeast ensures a crisp, neutral fermentation, leading to a dry finish that highlights a firm, refreshing bitterness. Despite its sessionable strength, the addition of Dextrin malt maintains a satisfying, smooth mouthfeel and persistent head.

Appearance. Pale gold (approx. 4-6 SRM). Clear with a slight, brilliant sheen. Persistent, frothy white head with significant lacing.

Aroma. High hop intensity featuring bright grapefruit and pine from Cascade, layered with the unique raspberry and lemon zest of McKenzie. Talus adds a sophisticated dried rose and sage quality, while Vista provides underlying notes of honeydew melon and white peach. Low, clean, bready malt aroma with a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus and tropical fruit. Firm hop bitterness is present throughout, supported by a very light, cracker-like malt flavor from the Heidelberg malt. The hop character is multifaceted, moving from citrus peel to resinous pine and floral berry. Finish is dry and crisp with a lingering, clean, hoppy bitterness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body. High carbonation provides a prickly, refreshing sensation. Smooth texture with no astringency. Alcohol warmth is non-existent.
