Bubblegum Pop is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a modern hop trifecta of Nectaron, Superdelic, and El Dorado Tropical. The London Ale III yeast strain contributes a soft, ester-driven foundation that amplifies the intense notes of overripe stone fruit and tropical berries. Built on a grist of Extra pale malt, flaked oats, and wheat, the beer presents a luminous, opaque glow and a signature pillowy texture. Expect a sensory explosion of pineapple, passionfruit, and candied citrus, finishing with a smooth, low-bitterness character that prioritizes juice-like saturation and a lush, candy-like sweetness over traditional resinous hop bite.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4-5 SRM); opaque with a characteristic hazy shine. Features a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick, decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring punchy tropical fruit, pineapple, and mango. Low bready and grainy malt character from the wheat and oats. Subtile stone fruit esters from the yeast fermentation are well-integrated with the fruity hop profile; no caramel or toast present.
Taste. High to very high tropical fruit flavors, specifically candied peach and passionfruit. Malt flavor is low and lightly bready, providing a soft backdrop. Bitterness is low to medium-low (approx. 30-40 IBU context), masked by the body. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering juicy fruit aftertaste and no harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated at 6% ABV. Entirely smooth with no hop astringency or acidic twang.
