Briefcase Boogie delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a potent blend of Zappa, Amarillo, and Mosaic hops. The aroma is dominated by tropical citrus and dark berries, accented by a unique spicy, minty edge typical of the Zappa variety. Built on a crisp foundation of Heidelberg malt and Chit malt, the beer offers a lean, grainy backbone that supports a firm bitterness. At 8% ABV, a smooth, integrated alcohol warmth complements the juicy hop profile. The finish is strikingly dry and lingering, showcasing Mosaic’s resinous pine and Amarillo’s bright orange zest against a clean, structured palate.

Appearance. Deep gold with brilliant clarity and a slight, persistent haze. Features a dense, frothy white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tangerine and grapefruit from Amarillo, alongside Mosaic's signature blueberry and tropical mango. A secondary layer of spicy herbs and savory mint arises from the Zappa hops, supported by a low, clean, crackery grain malt character and a neutral fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is a sharp, clean bitterness followed by a wave of resinous pine, tropical fruit, and zesty orange peel. The Heidelberg malt provides a lean, grainy sweetness that stays in the background, allowing the hop complexity to shine. Finishes very dry and crisp with a persistent, clean bitterness and a hint of smooth alcohol.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, rounded texture attributed to the Chit malt. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively, scrubbing sensation on the palate. A gentle, well-integrated alcoholic warmth is present without any harshness.
