Aggouraphobia reimagines the traditional Gose as a liquid savory garden, drawing inspiration from Balkan cooling soups with an unconventional array of ingredients. A pale, hazy base composed of barley malt and wheat malt provides a soft, bready foundation for a sharp lactic tartness reinforced by vegan yogurt powder. Fresh cucumber and crisp mint dominate the profile, offering an intensely refreshing sensory experience, while a restrained addition of garlic adds a subtle, savory complexity. The signature saline edge of the style enhances the vegetal crispness, culminating in a bone-dry, effervescent finish that is both bracing and remarkably clean.

Appearance. Pale yellow (3–4 SRM) with a tall, white head consisting of tight bubbles and good retention. The beer is unfiltered with a moderate to full haze and visible effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity of fresh-sliced cucumber and aromatic mint. The malt character is moderately bready and doughy, reflecting the wheat and barley. A clean, tangy lactic acidity is present, complemented by a very low, savory hint of garlic and a mineral, salty breeze. No hop aroma or yeast esters are perceived.

Taste. Initial impression is sharply tart and refreshing. Moderate bready wheat malt flavor is quickly overtaken by prominent crisp cucumber and a cooling mint sensation. A light savory garlic note provides depth. Bitterness is very low, with the balance driven by lactic acidity rather than hops. The salt is noticeable, creating a mouthwatering effect. It finishes very dry and clean with lingering garden-fresh notes.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body, bolstered by the salt and yogurt powder which provide a rounded, smooth texture despite the thinning effects of acidity. Carbonation is high and effervescent, with a light tingly sensation and very low alcohol warmth.

Általában úgy főzik, hogy a gabona legalább 50%-a malátázott búza.
A gose sör domináns ízei közé tartozik a citromos savanyúság, a gyógynövényes jellegzetesség és az erős sós íz, amely vagy a helyi vízforrásokból, vagy a hozzáadott sóból származik. A gose sörök jellemzően nem rendelkeznek kiemelkedő komlós keserűséggel, ízzel vagy aromával. A sörök jellemzően mérsékelt, 4-5%-os alkoholtartalommal rendelkeznek. We gave it some vegan yogurt powder treatment and went with Crossline Brewing‘s close to home version, hitting it with a lot of fresh mint, not dill.
