Hook Norton Flagship is a celebratory English IPA that balances heritage with a vibrant sensory profile. Pouring a clear, deep gold with a persistent off-white head, it offers a zesty and sweet aroma characterized by floral and citrus-orange hop notes. On the palate, a full hop character takes center stage, delivering assertive bitterness supported by a medium body and bready, biscuity malt undertones. Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (approx. 10 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a moderate-sized, persistent off-white head that leaves light lacing.
Aroma. Moderate-high intensity hop aroma featuring zesty orange-citrus and spicy-floral notes. Medium-low bready malt with a subtle honey-like sweetness and moderate fruity esters.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of floral spice and citrus zest. Assertive bitterness is balanced by a medium-low malt backbone of biscuit and light toast. Medium-dry finish with a lingering, clean hop bitterness and fruity yeast character.
