This Double IPA is defined by an intensive double dry-hopping regimen featuring Mosaic hops, which saturate the profile with a distinct tropical mango character. The sensory experience opens with a vibrant bouquet of overripe stone fruit, blueberry, and bright citrus. On the palate, the bold fruit flavors are supported by a clean, neutral malt base that allows the high hop bitterness to remain assertive yet smooth. The finish is remarkably clean for its strength, lacking any harshness or heavy residual sweetness. A smooth body provides a lush texture, while the elevated alcohol is seamlessly integrated, making for an exceptionally drinkable strong ale.
Appearance. Pale gold to light orange (SRM 6–8) with a persistent, creamy off-white head and a soft, modern haze.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by Mosaic; notes of tropical mango, pineapple, and crushed blueberries are layered over a subtle, grainy-sweet malt backdrop and a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Bold initial impression of tropical fruit and resinous pine; the Mosaic hops provide complex layers of mango and citrus. Bitterness is firm and moderately high but lacks astringency, leading to a dry, crisp finish with lingering hop oils.
