Stereologue is a sophisticated Wild Specialty Beer that showcases a vibrant marriage of fermentation science and regional ingredients. The aroma is led by a burst of fresh blueberries and the candy-like, tropical nuances of Michigan Copper hops, layered over a complex foundation of funky wild yeast and oak-derived vanillin. On the palate, a sharp but refined acidity cuts through the jammy fruit profile, revealing subtle earthy undertones and a dry, tannic structure from the barrel-aged sour blend. This collaboration balances intense fruit refermentation with the rustic, nuanced character of aged ales, resulting in a crisp, bright, and multi-layered sensory experience.
Appearance. Deep ruby to purple hue (SRM 20-25) with a hazy to opaque clarity. Features a pink-tinted, fine-beaded head with moderate retention and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity with dominant jammy blueberry and floral esters. Michigan Copper hops contribute distinct notes of fruit punch and sweet candy, while the wild fermentation provides barnyard funk and a sharp lactic tang, rounded by light oak and vanilla.
