The latest in Holy Goat’s Crusher sour series is brewed with Moro blood oranges.
Brewed with locally grown Scottish malts and fermented with Holy Goat’s house Brettanomyces yeast blend notable for its citrus and stone fruit characteristics. After a three-month primary fermentation this beer was refermented and conditioned with the juice and zest of winter harvest Moro blood oranges grown organically at Azienda Agricola Fausto Quintieri in Calabria, Italy.
HG hand processed over 100kg of blood oranges, recieved fresh directly from the farmer. The juice has lent a light reddish hue to the beer, whilst the zest and juice provide bright zippy citrus aromatics.
