"The Helle – since time immemorial the pride, signature and flagship of a Bavarian brewery. A classic, but at the same time one that places high demands on the art of its brewer. Our Helles in its current form was created after Fritz Sailer and his brewmaster returned from the Second World War. This beer was also intended to be a real new beginning and, in contrast to many relatively dark competitor beers, to live up to its name. With its particularly light colour, the Helle from Traunstein set a trend that continues to this day.

It is still by far our most popular beer.
