Hoepfner Hefe-Weizen is a quintessential Weissbier from Karlsruhe, presenting a sunny golden, naturally cloudy appearance topped with a dense, creamy white head. The sensory profile is defined by a vibrant interplay of classic fermentation esters and phenols, led by ripe banana and accented by notes of pineapple and subtle berries. These fruity elements are delicately balanced by spicy undertones of clove and a hint of nutmeg. On the palate, the soft, velvety texture of the wheat grist provides a bready foundation, leading to a spritzy, refreshing finish. It remains balanced and highly drinkable, capturing the essence of an effervescent German summer classic.
