This West Coast Double IPA is defined by a vivid sense of freshness and layers of hop complexity. The intentional use of Centennial Moxee, Zappa, Chinook, Mosaic, and Citra creates a sophisticated sensory profile that shifts from bright tropical fruits and sharp citrus to a deep, resinous finish. Despite its 9% ABV, it remains remarkably drinkable, focusing on hop impact rather than malt weight. Expect a clean, neutral malt backbone that allows the interplay of piney Chinook and berry-like Mosaic notes to shine, making this Double IPA a punchy yet balanced exploration of modern hop character.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (SRM 7-10). Brilliant clarity with a tall, white, persistent head that leaves significant lacing.

Aroma. High hop intensity featuring a complex bouquet of grapefruit, mango, and passionfruit, underpinned by spicy resin and pine. Centennial Moxee provides floral lifts, while Citra and Mosaic add stone fruit and berry notes. Malt is low and neutral, providing a grainy, crackery foundation with a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Leading with aggressive but smooth bitterness, the flavor follows the aroma with intense layers of citrus peel and tropical fruit. Chinook provides a firm piney backbone. The malt flavor is restrained, offering a clean, soft support without residual sweetness. It finishes very dry with a lingering resinous and citrusy hop aftertaste.
