This Northeast IPA departs from the standard citrus-heavy profile to explore a deeper, dank sensory dimension. Event Horizon presents a pungent, resinous, and earthy character reminiscent of fresh pine and damp forest floor, providing a physical sensation in the olfactory system. This intense green profile is skillfully balanced by a stone fruit sweetness, specifically ripe peach, derived from the fermentation esters. The result is a complex, opaque ale that challenges the palate with its savory, resinous depth while maintaining the signature soft, pillowy texture of the Hazy IPA style. It is a bold, aromatic shift that lingers with a smooth, resin-coated finish.

Appearance. Straw to light orange with an opaque, hazy shine. Features a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and beautiful lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by dank, resinous, and piney notes. Secondary layers of earthy, wet-soil characteristics and a subtle citrus undertone. Pronounced stone fruit esters, particularly peach, emerge from the background alongside a low, bready malt presence.

Taste. Massive hop flavor mirrors the aroma with pungent resin, pine, and earthy 'green' notes. Initial peach sweetness from yeast esters balances the hop intensity. Malt flavor is low and bready. Bitterness is low to moderate and smooth, never harsh. The finish is soft and off-dry with a lingering resinous aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate. A light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 7% ABV without any astringency.
