Second Breakfast is a rich and comforting Oatmeal Stout that artfully integrates the vibrant character of Rave Coffee’s signature blend with the delicate floral notes of honey. On the nose, a high intensity of freshly roasted coffee dominates, underpinned by deep chocolate and toasted grain aromas. The addition of oats creates a luxurious, silky texture that carries flavors of dark cocoa, espresso, and a subtle, lingering honey sweetness. While the roasted malts provide a firm backbone, the coffee adds a layer of earthy complexity and a clean, roasty bitterness. It concludes with a smooth, balanced finish that celebrates its breakfast-inspired ingredients.

Appearance. Jet black and opaque (SRM 40+). Pours with a thick, persistent, creamy tan head that leaves dense lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity of freshly roasted coffee with notes of dark berries and earth. Moderate roasted malt character featuring dark chocolate and cocoa. A subtle, floral honey sweetness is present, complementing a low earthy hop aroma and clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Initial impression is dominated by rich, cold-brew coffee and bittersweet chocolate.
