Appearance. Deep gold to light amber (7-9 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, off-white, frothy head that exhibits excellent persistence and leaves decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent grapefruit, orange zest, and lime, complemented by light floral and subtle passionfruit notes. Malt is low and grainy-sweet, while the fermentation profile is exceptionally clean with no noticeable esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward and bright. High hop flavors of grapefruit pith and citrus oil are prominent, followed by a crisp, medium-high bitterness. The malt character is low, providing a clean, bready support without significant caramel. Finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering hoppy aftertaste and a clean bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly resinous texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, appropriate for its 6.8% ABV.
