Appearance. SRM 10-13; medium reddish-amber to copper. Brilliant clarity. Medium-sized, off-white head with excellent persistence and moderate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of orange zest, grapefruit, and tropical passion fruit. Secondary notes of crushed white grape and a hint of resinous pine. Low clean, toasted maltiness with a faint caramel background. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus and tropical fruit. High hop flavor of orange peel, white wine grapes, and grapefruit pith. Medium-high bitterness that is firm but not harsh, reminiscent of cinchona or orange bitters. Low to medium-low toasted malt and light caramel sweetness provides a brief mid-palate support. Very dry, clean finish with a lingering hoppy and citrusy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture. Medium-high carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Crisp finish with no perceptible astringency.
