Maitiid, a collaboration between Het Brouwdok and Brouwerij Noordt, delivers a vibrant Helles Bock character designed for the spring thaw. This Lentebock emphasizes a foundation of Pilsner and Vienna malts, projecting a rich grainy-sweet and bready aroma with delicate toasted undertones. The palate is defined by a deep, doughy malt presence, elegantly balanced by a refreshing bitterness and subtle herbal hop notes. Its clean lager fermentation results in a crisp, moderately dry finish that mirrors the brewers' "malty and fresh" vision. Brilliant deep gold with a persistent creamy head, it masterfully captures the essence of burgeoning nature and melting snow.

Appearance. Deep gold to light amber in color with brilliant clarity. Features a large, creamy, persistent white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to strong grainy-sweet malt intensity with a light toasted quality and doughy notes. Low spicy and floral hop aroma is present. Clean fermentation profile with no fruity esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Dominant grainy-sweet and bready malt flavors with light Maillard complexity. Low spicy hop flavor provides a counterpoint to the malt. Moderate hop bitterness provides a balanced, moderately dry finish that tastes of both grain and hops without being cloying.

Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with moderate to moderately-high carbonation. Smooth and clean on the palate with a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no astringency.
