This West Coast Pils provides a modern, hop-forward evolution of the classic German Pils. A base of grainy, doughy malt and toasted cracker notes provides a clean stage for an expressive hop bouquet. Traditional Saaz hops anchor the profile with herbal and spicy nuances, while Mosaic and Citra introduce vibrant layers of tropical fruit and citrus. Cascade adds a distinct floral and grapefruit lift. Brilliant straw in color with a persistent white head, the experience concludes with an assertive bitterness and a bone-dry finish. It is a crisp, refreshing lager that balances Old World structure with New World aromatic intensity.
Appearance. Straw to deep yellow (2–4 SRM); brilliant clarity; creamy, long-lasting white head with excellent lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring floral, spicy, and herbal notes alongside grapefruit, citrus, and a hint of tropical fruit. Low grainy-sweet, doughy malt character with a light toasted cracker quality. Very clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial grainy-sweet malt flavor is quickly overcome by a complex hop profile of spice, citrus, and tropical berries. High bitterness that is firm but not harsh, lingering into a very dry, crisp finish. Clean fermentation with no esters or diacetyl; a slight mineral sharpness accentuates the dry aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a crisp, refreshing character. Medium to high carbonation. No alcohol warmth; smooth and highly attenuated without any astringency.
