Windermere Pale is a quintessentially refreshing session ale that bridges the gap between a traditional Ordinary Bitter and a modern golden ale. It presents as a very pale, straw-colored beer with brilliant clarity. The sensory profile is defined by the heavy use of Citra hops, which provide a vibrant burst of grapefruit, lime, and subtle tropical fruit. A delicate malt foundation of bready and biscuity notes provides just enough support for the assertive hop character without adding weight. It finishes remarkably dry with a crisp, moderate bitterness, making it an exceptionally drinkable example of a light-bodied British session beer.
Appearance. Pale straw to light gold (4–6 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a low to moderate white head and light lacing.
