Hawkers Beer Foreign Influence showcases the vibrant character of its 100% New Zealand ingredients. This American Pale Ale delivers an assertive sensory profile driven by a potent lineup of Riwaka, Kohatu, and Nectaron hops. Expect an olfactory punch of zesty citrus, ripe tropical fruit, and succulent stone fruit. The clean malt base, derived entirely from New Zealand malts, provides a crisp, supportive foundation for the intense hop character. It balances a moderate bitterness with a bright, easy-drinking finish, making it a modern, southern-hemisphere interpretation of the style that focuses on fresh, aromatic depth and high drinkability.

Appearance. Pale golden to deep gold (5–7 SRM). Features a moderately large, off-white, persistent head with good retention and lacing. Generally quite clear with a brilliant shimmer.

Aroma. Moderately-high intensity with a dominant New Zealand hop character. Vibrant notes of grapefruit and lime zest from Riwaka, tropical passionfruit from Nectaron, and a subtle floral, piney undertone from Kohatu. Low neutral to grainy maltiness provides a clean background, with very low fruity esters.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of grapefruit, mango, and stone fruit. Malt flavor is low and neutral-grainy, providing a supportive but restrained balance. Bitterness is moderate to high and clean. The finish is medium-dry to dry and crisp, with lingering tropical and citrus hop flavors that remain smooth without harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light to medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate to high, creating a lively and refreshing sensation. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated; no astringency is present.
