Appearance. Deep gold to pale amber (6–9 SRM). Large, persistent white head with dense lacing. Notably hazy to opaque due to the high protein content from flaked oats and wheat.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma. Dominant tropical fruit notes of mango and passion fruit, coupled with citrus orange and a subtle berry undertone. Low, neutral bready maltiness is present but secondary. Moderate fruity esters from the yeast complement the hop profile. Subtle resinous pine in the background.
Taste. Initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit and citrus. Malt flavors are soft and bready, providing a sturdy but unobtrusive base for the Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hop flavors. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated, providing enough structure to balance the fruitiness without becoming harsh. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering juicy fruit aftertaste and a touch of piney resin.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess and thick texture from the extensive use of oats and wheat. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth with no alcohol warmth or astringency.
