These grains weave a tapestry of toasted brown bread crust, enriched by subtle nuances of chewy raisins and dark dates. Magnum hops provide a structured, firm bitterness, while Tettnanger contributes a delicate veil of floral aromatics. Fermented cool and clean with Weihenstephaner lager yeast, the character remains exceptionally elegant. The sensory experience is one of refined malt depth—rich and complex yet remarkably balanced—leading into a crisp, well-attenuated finish that invites another sip of this traditional celebratory lager.

Appearance. Deep amber to reddish-copper (12-14 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a persistent, creamy off-white head that displays excellent retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity malt aroma of toasted bread and rich crusts. A subtle dark fruit nuance suggesting raisins is present alongside a low, floral hop character from the Tettnanger. The fermentation profile is very clean with no esters or diacetyl.

Taste. Initial rich maltiness featuring toasted biscuit and deep bread crust flavors. Moderate hop bitterness from the Magnum hops provides a firm balance against the malt, preventing any cloying sweetness. Low floral hop flavor persists into a moderately dry, crisp finish.
