Covenant is a quintessential Hazy IPA that delivers a lush, tropical sensory experience centered on a heavenly hop trio. The aromatic profile is defined by an intense, juice-like bouquet where Bru-1 provides vibrant pineapple notes, complemented by the ripe stone fruit character of El Dorado and a bright citrus finish from Citra hops. The experience is incredibly silky on the palate, layering these fruit-forward hop expressions over a soft, bready malt foundation. With its restrained bitterness and focused biotransformation character, this beer balances a complex fruit profile with high drinkability and a smooth, lingering tropical aftertaste.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (4 SRM) with a deep, opaque haze and a healthy shine. It supports a thick, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring dominant notes of fresh pineapple, peach, and mango, supported by a bright citrus zest. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light bready/grainy background without toast or caramel. Fermentation esters are supportive and fruity.
Taste. High fruity hop flavors led by pineapple and stone fruit with a zesty citrus edge. Malt flavor is low to medium, offering a soft, grainy sweetness. Perceived bitterness is low to medium-low and very smooth, lacking any harshness. The finish is off-dry and clean with a long-lasting fruity hop impression.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a silky, soft texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth mouthfeel without any carbonic bite or hop-derived astringency. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
