This amber-hued ale emphasizes refreshing citrus and grapefruit notes over heavy resin, creating an approachable aromatic profile that stays true to the brewer's intent of balance. At 6% alcohol, the hop bitterness remains firm yet integrated against a clean malt backdrop. The experience is defined by its drinkability and a crisp, dry finish, offering a polished Belgian interpretation of the modern India Pale Ale without the harshness or heavy body often associated with higher-gravity examples.
Appearance. Amber to deep copper in color (10–14 SRM). Clear with a persistent, off-white, creamy head that exhibits moderate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate to high hop intensity featuring bright grapefruit and citrus zest. Low to moderate clean malt sweetness with hints of cracker and light caramel. Fermentation is clean with very subtle spicy esters.
Taste. Initial impression is hop-forward with grapefruit and orange peel flavors. Medium-high bitterness that is firm but well-integrated, supported by a low to medium bready malt flavor. The finish is dry to off-dry and clean, with a lingering, crisp citrus aftertaste.
