H2ÖL H2Pils
This H2Pils is a vibrant, modern interpretation of a German Pils, elevated by a bright citrus and floral dry-hop profile. Utilizing Centennial and Mandarina Bavaria hops, the aroma bursts with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, and soft orange blossom, layering over a delicate, grainy-sweet malt base. Its appearance is a brilliant, shimmering gold topped with a persistent, creamy white head. On the palate, a firm, crisp bitterness immediately cleanses the tongue, supported by a lean, cracker-like malt structure and a lingering, zesty finish. It is exceptionally refreshing, capturing a Mediterranean character through its clean fermentation and snappy, dry mouthfeel.
Appearance. Straw to brilliant gold (approx. 3-4 SRM) with excellent clarity; features a dense, creamy, long-lasting white head with good lacing.
Aroma. Moderately high hop intensity featuring notes of grapefruit, lemon, and tangerine from Centennial and Mandarina Bavaria, supported by a low grainy, doughy, and cracker-like malt character. Clean fermentation profile with no esters.
Taste. Initial light grainy-sweet malt flavor is rapidly overtaken by a medium-high hop bitterness. Hop flavors of citrus zest and floral spice are prominent. The finish is crisp and very dry with a lingering, clean bitterness and a touch of flinty minerality.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate to high carbonation that enhances the crisp, refreshing character. Very smooth with no alcohol warmth or astringency.
