This American IPA pays homage to the classic West Coast style with a bold, resinous profile. Highlighting the iconic combination of Simcoe, Cascade, and Chinook hops, it delivers an intense bouquet of pine needles and damp earth alongside a sharp grapefruit zest. The sensory experience is defined by a clean, grainy malt backbone that allows the dank, herbaceous hop qualities to take center stage. Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx. 7-10 SRM). Brilliant clarity. Persistent, off-white, medium-sized head with sticky lacing.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent resinous pine, dank earth, and spicy citrus rind. Low, clean, bready malt sweetness provides a neutral foundation. Fermentation is clean with negligible esters.
Taste. Assertive hop-forward initial impression. Strong flavors of pine resin and citrus rind. Bitterness is firm and crisp, balanced by a light toasted-bread malt character. Finishes very dry and clean with a long-lasting, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a lively carbonic bite. Minimal alcohol warmth; no harshness or astringency.
