Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring rich toasted malt and caramelized sugar. Prominent dark fruit esters of raisin and plum are layered with peppery yeast phenols. A unique woody scent of cedar and a hint of walnut adds complexity, with no hop aroma detected.
Taste. The initial impression is malty-rich with flavors of dark bread crust and caramelized sugar.
