Guineu Blat De Sac is an inviting Weissbier that pours a hazy pale gold with a resilient, moussy white head. The aroma is defined by a classic balance of ripe banana esters and spicy clove phenols, underpinned by a soft, doughy wheat malt character. On the palate, the sweetness of the malted wheat is prominent yet balanced by a subtle infusion of herbal hops that keep the profile refreshing. At 5.6% ABV, it offers a slightly more substantial body than lighter examples, maintaining a fluffy, creamy texture and high carbonation that leads to a crisp, dry finish. It is an exemplary, yeast-forward German-style wheat beer.
Appearance. Pale straw to gold (3-5 SRM). Hazy to nearly opaque with a very thick, moussy, and long-lasting white head.
Aroma. Moderate to high intensity banana esters and clove-like phenols. Strong bready, doughy wheat malt character with a light, clean herbal hop aroma in the background.
Taste. Soft, bready wheat malt flavor with a touch of grainy sweetness. Balanced banana and clove yeast character dominates the mid-palate. Very low bitterness with a subtle herbal hop flavor. The finish is relatively dry and clean, despite the initial perception of wheat sweetness.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a fluffy, creamy fullness on the tongue. High carbonation provides a spritzy, effervescent feel with no significant alcohol warmth.
