This celebratory Gueuze marks a decade of Tilquin blending mastery, offering a sophisticated sensory tapestry. The specific blend of one, two, and three-year-old lambics results in a refined complexity that evolves gracefully. The nose is greeted by a moderate, balanced sourness interwoven with deep funk—think aged leather, damp hay, and a distinct earthy horse-blanket character. On the palate, vibrant lemon zest and tart rhubarb notes dance against a soft, wheat-driven malt backbone. Two years of bottle conditioning yield a high, mousse-like effervescence and a bone-dry finish, where subtle oak and a lingering, puckering tartness create an elegant, multi-layered experience.

Appearance. Golden color (6 SRM) with brilliant clarity and a thick, rocky, white mousse-like head that exhibits exceptional retention and lacing.

Aroma. High intensity with complex funkiness featuring horse blanket, leather, and earthy notes. This is balanced by moderate citrus rind and rhubarb fruitiness, supported by a faint, bready wheat malt character and a hint of neutral oak. No hop aroma.

Taste. Sharply tart and funky with prominent flavors of lemon, green apple, and hay. The malt provides a low, grainy foundation while hop bitterness is absent, leaving the acidity to balance the palate. It finishes bone-dry and crisp with a lingering, complex funky aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with very high carbonation providing a prickly, effervescent sensation. Features a moderate puckering tartness and a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth that contributes to a soft, velvety texture.
