Pale Ale 5 º 40 IBU
This Ordinary Bitter presents a refined balance between traditional British hops and a robust malt backbone. A blend of Pilsen, Caramelo, and Munich malts provides a copper-hued foundation, yielding expressive notes of toasted nuts and rich caramel. These sweet, bready layers are expertly countered by the earthy and floral qualities of Golding and Fuggles hops. Despite its sessionable intent, the beer offers a surprisingly complex profile, weaving together subtle fruity esters with a firm, drying bitterness. The result is a highly drinkable ale that celebrates classic ingredients with a clean, lingering finish that highlights its premium craftsmanship.
Appearance. Pale amber to deep copper with brilliant clarity. Features a fine, persistent, cream-colored head with moderate lacing.
Aroma. Moderate intensity. Pronounced malt-forward profile of sweet caramel, toasted bread, and walnuts. Hop character is moderate, showcasing the earthy, herbal, and floral notes characteristic of Golding and Fuggles. Low fruity esters are present, with no diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression of bready malt sweetness quickly followed by toasted nuts and light caramel. Hop flavor is earthy and floral, providing a medium to moderately high bitterness that balances the Caramelo and Munich malt influence. The finish is dry and clean with a lingering herbal hop note. Low to moderate fruity esters complement the malt.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Though the alcohol content is slightly elevated for the style, warmth remains subtle and well-integrated. Smooth texture with no astringency.
