This potent Double IPA is a sensory showcase for the heavy-hitting Nectaron and Cryo-Mosaic hop varieties. A vibrant bouquet of white peach, passionfruit, and ripe pineapple from the Nectaron leads the charge, underpinned by Mosaic’s signature complex notes of blueberry, citrus zest, and a hint of earthy pine. Despite its 8.3% ABV, the profile remains remarkably focused on hop saturation rather than malt weight. Lean, neutral malts provide a crackery foundation that allows the intense tropical and stone fruit flavors to explode, finishing with a firm, integrated bitterness and a subtle, smooth alcohol warmth that invites another sip.

Appearance. Gold to light orange-copper in color (7-10 SRM). Displays a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head with good lacing and light haze from the intensive dry-hopping.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of stone fruit, specifically peach and nectarine, alongside tropical pineapple, blueberry, and light resinous pine. Malt is low and neutral, providing a clean, grainy backdrop with a faint hint of alcohol.

Taste. Initial hop-forward impact of tropical fruit and berry. High bitterness that is firm but clean, lacking harshness. The malt flavor is low and unobtrusive, supporting the hop character without adding significant sweetness. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering aftertaste of citrus rind and pine.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Moderate carbonation provides a gentle lift, accompanied by a restrained and well-integrated alcohol warmth without any hop-derived astringency.
