An assertive, bold West Coast IPA brewed to celebrate a milestone, featuring a layered dry-hop profile of Magnum, Nugget, Chinook, Loral, Centennial, Citra, and Simcoe. This hop-forward showcase delivers a vibrant olfactory greeting of sticky pine resin, bright grapefruit zest, and fresh floral notes. On the palate, a clean, supporting pale malt backbone yields to intense waves of resinous evergreen and sharp citrus oil. The finish is assertively bitter, dry, and clean, highlighting a beautifully structured, classic hop profile that lingers with a crisp, refreshing, and slightly warming character.
Appearance. Medium gold to light reddish-amber in color. Brilliant clarity with a persistent, thick, off-white head that leaves dense, soapy lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring strong notes of citrus peel, pine resin, damp earth, and light herbal-floral hints. Behind the dominant hops, a low, clean, grainy-sweet and very lightly toasted maltiness provides a supportive backdrop. Clean fermentation profile with virtually undetectable esters and a subtle, well-integrated hint of clean alcohol.
Taste. Bold, hop-forward initial impression with dominant flavors of resinous pine, grapefruit pith, and subtle tropical undertones. Medium-low, clean, crackery malt flavor offers a dry, supportive canvas without sweetness. Bitterness is firm and high, clean and assertive but not harsh. Finishes highly dry, crisp, and exceptionally clean, with a lingering, resinous, and citrusy-bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a crisp, smooth texture. Moderate to medium-high carbonation. No astringency or harshness, but a light, smooth, and well-integrated alcohol warmth is present, appropriate for its strength.
