This chestnut-colored brew leads with a rich, pastry-like aromatic profile of toffee, dulce de leche, and warm vanilla. The palate is surprisingly refreshing despite its 8% ABV, offering a smooth entry of sweet caramel and soft cocoa. A defining characteristic is the persistent, nutty aftertaste derived from a specific mixture of nuts, which provides a dry, earthy counterpoint to the initial malt sweetness. The absence of traditional hops allows the intricate herbal spice and deep malt character to remain the focal point of this Belgian-inspired Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer.

Appearance. Deep chestnut brown (SRM 22-26); features a persistent, ochre-colored head with medium-sized bubbles and moderate lacing; noticeably cloudy/hazy in the glass.

Aroma. High intensity and aromatically complex; dominant malt notes of toffee, caramel, and dulce de leche are complemented by vanilla and pastry-like sweetness. Underlying herbal spice notes from the gruut mixture replace traditional hop aromas, accompanied by a subtle earthy nuttiness.
