Ground Zero’s XperimentALE 019 is a crisp, focused German Pils that exemplifies European lager tradition. Pouring a brilliant straw-gold, it opens with a moderate-high aroma of floral and herbal German hops, supported by a clean, grainy malt base suggesting toasted crackers and light dough. At 5.1% ABV, the palate is defined by a firm hop bitterness that immediately balances the light sweet character of the Continental Pilsner malt. The finish is notably dry and refreshing, featuring a subtle minerally snap and a lingering herbal aftertaste. High carbonation and a medium-light body ensure a sharp, clean profile that is both elegant and intensely sessionable.
Appearance. Straw to light gold (3 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Features a thick, creamy, long-lasting white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
