Gross Sticky is a quintessential West Coast IPA that emphasizes a resinous, hop-saturated profile. Utilizing a potent blend of Mosaic, Citra, and Warrior hops, the aromatic presentation leads with pungent pine and sticky resin, layered over vibrant tropical fruit. The beer pours with brilliant clarity and a slightly toasted, golden hue. On the palate, grainy cereal-like malt flavors provide a lean foundation for an aggressive 85 IBU bitterness. The Mosaic and Citra hops deliver distinct tropical notes, while the Warrior ensures a firm, clean bite that lingers through a bone-dry, refreshing finish typical of the style.

Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (8-10 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, off-white head that demonstrates excellent persistence and leaves significant lacing on the glass.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent resin, pine needles, and citrus zest. Secondary notes of mango and blueberry from the Mosaic hops are supported by a low, clean, grainy-sweet malt character with a hint of toasted cereal. Fermentation is clean with no noticeable esters.

Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma with layers of resinous pine and tropical fruit. Medium-low grainy malt provides a subtle toasted cereal backdrop. Bitterness is high and assertive, driving the balance toward a decidedly hop-forward profile. The finish is very dry with a long-lasting, clean, bitter aftertaste and no harshness.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Moderate carbonation. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present but remains smooth.
