GROSS

This West Coast IPA showcases a vibrant interplay between the versatile Mosaic and the experimental HBC638 hops. It pours a brilliant gold with an inviting aromatic punch of ripe strawberry, melon, and blueberry, underpinned by resinous pine and pink grapefruit. The palate is defined by a clean, grainy malt backbone that allows the intense tropical and stone fruit hop flavors to dominate. A firm, snapping bitterness leads into a crisp, dry finish, characteristic of the American IPA style. Balanced yet hop-forward, it captures a modern sensory profile with classic precision and a lingering citrus zest.

Appearance. Medium gold (6-8 SRM); brilliant clarity. Features a persistent, medium-sized white head with excellent lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring notes of blueberry and tropical fruit from Mosaic, paired with distinct strawberry and melon from HBC638. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness supports the hops. Fermentation is clean with neutral yeast character.

Taste. Initial hop impression of citrus peel and resin. Low, neutral malt flavors provide a cracker-like base for mid-palate highlights of melon and berry. Medium-high bitterness is firm and clean. The finish is dry and lingering with a refreshing hoppy aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate to medium-high carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth with no hop-derived astringency.
